We've exposed how the most popular reality shows fake it. How celebrities get dubious prescriptions by unscrupulous doctors while their wallets are fleeced by crooks.  And how the King of Pop's trial was due in part to his traumatic youth. News specials are some of the most rewarding projects to pitch and produce. While we are a pop culture network, we've tried to find larger, off the track stories where we can go a bit deeper and reveal some shady stories or charaacters. This is just a partial list of projects I've helped develop and supervise.

	Premiere: October 27, 2004	Popular reality shows are rewarded with a second season and in that spirit, so comes VH1 News Presents: Reality TV Secrets 2. Like its predecessor, this news show investigates the world of so-called "reality" TV to find that these shows rely more on fiction than fact.

	WHEN STARS GET SCAMMED
	Premiere: September 27, 2004	Fame and fortune can come at a high price for Hollywood's hottest celebrities and there is never a shortage of people out there looking to make them pay. From smooth talkers to fast walkers, this show looks at some of the slickest scammers and swindlers who have taken more than a few `A' listers out for a ride.

	SECRET WORLD OF HOLLYWOOD DOCTORS
	Premiere: May 4, 2004	Doctors to the stars are being thrust into the limelight for the practice of bad medicine. This special examines the culture of medicine in Hollywood and illustrates how doctors approached by celebrity patients are seduced by the idea of being relied upon by the famous.

	BEEF: RAP'S BIGGEST BATTLES
	Premiere: February 5, 2004	This program traces the history of rap through the history of BEEFS -- the nickname for the feuds that have developed between artists. It will show how some of hip hop's war of words became actual battles, spilling out of the studios and into the streets.

	REALITY TV SECRETS REVEALED
	Premiere: January 2, 2004	Each season, reality TV producers find new and outrageous ways to stir up emotion, romance and humiliation. What’s the secret? Why do we watch? And how real is it? This documentary presents an insider’s look into the unreal world of Reality TV. You'll find out just how far contestants, editors and producers will go in the name of big ratings.

	MICHAEL JACKSON SEX SCANDAL
	Premiere: November 22, 2003	Ten years after first defending himself against allegations of child molesting, a warrant calling for Michael Jackson’s arrest has been issued by California authorities. The charges are for lewd or lascivious acts with a minor. If convicted, California authorities say he could serve up to eight years in prison.

	TERROR IN THE FRONT ROW
	Premiere: March 11, 2003	The tragic February 20 fire at the Station in Rhode Island was one of the worst club tragedies in U.S. history. Only four days earlier, another 21 people were killed in a stampede at a Chicago nightclub. While this is probably more a horrible coincidence than any kind of trend, both tragedies touched on fears that nearly everyone who's ever been inside a crowded dance club or concert has experienced at one time or another - how on earth will we all get out of here if something happens?

	GIRLS GONE WILD UNCOVERED
	Premiere: March 10, 2003	Girls Gone Wild -- fueled by a modern day Hugh Hefner, 29 year-old Joe Francis -- has infiltrated Hollywood, the music industry, and amassed a multi-million dollar fortune. 	WHO KILLED TUPAC SHAKUR?
	Premiere: September 11, 2002	An explosive new expose in the LA Times alleges that the mastermind behind the killing of Tupac Shakur was none other than his East Coast rival, Biggie Smalls. (aka Notorious B.I.G, nee Christopher Wallace.) Biggie allegedly supplied the murder weapon and the bounty for a member of the Crips (now deceased) to pull the trigger on Shakur, who was shot in car on the Las Vegas strip. Biggie himself was murdered six months later.

	WHO IS MICHAEL JACKSON?
	Premiere: August 4, 2002	On July 6th, 2002, Michael Jackson came to New York City with a plan. The King of Pop planted a wet kiss on new pal Reverend Al Sharpton’s cheek and then launched a vitriolic attack on his record label Sony. “The record companies really, really do conspire against artists. They steal. They cheat. They do whatever they can - especially to black artists”, declared Jackson. What happened to Jackson to cause this outburst?

	R. KELLY SEX SCANDAL
	Premiere: June 30, 2002	The mysterious appearance of raunchy videotapes that allegedly show R. Kelly having sex with juveniles has lead to a criminal investigation of the R&B superstar by Chicago police. This tape, combined with a growing number of lawsuits from an attorney representing the girls allegedy on the tape, threaten Kelly's career.
